Rotate text

I have a question. I made a design for a Tshirt for my daughter and it has words. I've tried and tried and tried to rotate the text but I can't. I can rotate the pic that is in front of it but not the text box. I am using word but I have all programs (including photoshop but I'm not that great with it). Any help would be awesome !

note that if you use dark transfers (Amy's are the best for all purposes) than you generally do not need to rotate (flip) the image.

read your transfer instructions carefully.

often the flip function relates to the printer options and not the document options....at least it does on my printer

Thanks. And do the dark transfers work on whites?

I used Amy's transfers are all my shirts from black to white....I believe there is info in the How To sticky on what the differences are between light and dark transfers. Amy is most articulate about it and she and many more DISers only use the dark all the time.

here is part of what the Sticky says about transfers:

Buy transfers
Order on-line or check for coupons or sales.
Check with the DISigners to see who they use? (I use Amy-Mickey's Transfers). If you use poor quality transfers your shirts will run or look raggedy after a few washes.
If putting design on a white shirt - you can use either light or dark transfers. For any other color shirt - use dark transfers or else ALL white areas of the design will be the shirt color.
Dark transfers tend to have more vibrant colors and are more of a matte finish and light transfers are shinier.
The MINUTE that the printer flashes the "ink low" message, CHANGE THE INK CARTRIDGE. Do not try to get one more transfer out of that ink cartridge. (I did that and wasted a transfer because the transfer had vertical stripes through it!)
