Fiancee's brother (bradley) 12 1st time.
Wake up very early and excited to get a taxi from the hotel to the airport - horrible weather so good to be getting away.
The queues for virgin was so big when we arrived so we joined on to the back. We started wondering if we was in the right que, then a virgin rep came over and told us we wasnt Doh. we duly went to a tiny queue and checked in, then straight through the security checks. Security was very tight which is good as you can never complain as it makes you feel that bit more secure these days.
We did the usual airport stuff wife dragging me round the shops, breakfast and a quick pint before the flight. ( i always have to have a drink before boarding dont know why but now i always have to do it). We finally got on to the plane and it was empty i havent seen a plane as empty ever esp to florida. So we got a row each and spread out for a little sleep which didnt work as we couldnt get to sleep.
bradley was fine this was his 1st time flying and he was a little nervous but ok, He didnt like the landing but the other stuff was fine. I watched superman and cars on the plane while debbie watched the devil wears prada, that devil reminds me off someone else that buys too many shoes
Even tough been here 4 times Debs still manages to get the immigration forms wrong 3 times schoolboy errors.
Check in the holiday inn international drive, we like this hotel stayed here before and take bradley to see the pool. Bradley was asking if we could watch eastenders but i had to dissapoint him and tell him we wouldnt be able to over here. Quite chilly outside but nice still, We ate at chillis the restaurant for dinner which is a bit of a tradition as we always have our 1st meal in florida here.
Got back to the room for 9ish and had a couple of quick beers in the bar before retiring to bed, tried staying awake as late as we could but gave in at around 10.
