Hi Rosie! I'm so glad I found you again! I just started getting back into the Dis again and so many things have changed! Nice to see you haven't changed too much though, the same fun loving, lap dancing Rosie I remember from a few years ago. I'll be following along to read about your plans and your trip!

Our departure went VERY well . I will be posting a brief TR on this , with the highlights , but we had a high functioning group and 3 were DRAMA the whole time was annoying to say the least New meaning to LOVE Triangle

Now Marv Paul was my man when I was 16 , you know that time when the wagons roamed the Prairies
. Seriously I pretended to be him every lunchtime in our lower 6th form study , we made so much noise singing the Beatles songs we disturbed the neighbors who called the Principal

Let me elaborate a little on the DRAMA.As Marv at least knows most of these guys are total strangers to us until the trip, with the exception of what the staff at their houses or apartments or whoever decides to tell us, well we knew 2 were from the same apartment home , but nothing was said to us that they were an ITEM, it was sought of apparent after the first few hours as she called him Honey, babe etc . Everything seemed okay until she starts edging her way to sit with ride with or walk with another traveler . Pretty soon we notice tension from her boyfriend ( I wonder why???) I talk to her about it and she flat out says they are just friends and that dating was NOT allowed . He says she is full of it . The tension was awful and Carol and I decided to talk to their staff and strongly suggest the never go on vacation again . Found out he was right she was lying and is known for that. Had we had that info before we would have nipped it in the beginning and not believed a word she said . Other than that all was good other than the HEAT

Even for any campers we have forms and all our Special needs have one on one assessments to find out any behaviors or needs. You don't even have a diagnosis most of the time. We find things out along the way and rely on your experience to figure out how to deal with it. Like the dog fear.

Okay here goes with a few pix of my Disney Drama Trip an a little report

If it ad a title it would be just that

Carol picked me up at 2:15 a.m and we were off to Buffalo airport . Now Carol had a rental that we were dropping off at Enterprise , we were ahead of schedule and feeling great( well as great as you can with no sleep )Carol had exact directions for the drop off and we found Enterprise with NO problem also the BOX for key drop off Carol drops them in and then the box grabs/slams her fingers With a painful hand w she continued on the trooper that she is . Now we are there half hour early and already a couple are there , well the morning is looking up again, before Dreaded Joanne arrives we have them all there and apart for taking one to the bathroom she did nothing Oh she did watch out carry ons while we checked out bags . We were thrilled when the luggae person had all 10 f our boarding passes ready and we checked in 10 people in record time and he also printed us the pre board cards Security went fairly well , we are good and have it all organise , except the taking shoes off etc , there is always at least one who gets confused , this time it was more than on , but at least I had caught the attention of the guards to let us go thru the easier metal detector . We ha time to get drink and me organize and pass morning meds, which is fun in a airport Before we knew it we were boarding and on our way

Oh that is a fun trip!!!!! I am continually amazed that you know next to nothing about these guys before you take them on a multi-day vacation. Even for any campers we have forms and all our Special needs have one on one assessments to find out any behaviors or needs. You don't even have a diagnosis most of the time. We find things out along the way and rely on your experience to figure out how to deal with it. Like the dog fear.

We have information but it is more what they leave out that hurts , with the dog thing I even ASKED abut dogs on a leash

So I had uploaded a few more pix already so will continue on:-
We landed a few minutes early , luck still with us and headed to the transportation floor and the MAGICAL EXPRESS, everyone was keeping up and it was smooth sailing, the bus was there and we were soon on our way . Check in was smooth, BUT no rooms ready so we checked all out carryons , after I had got all the afternoon meds ready. The luggage people were super and said they would deliver all our checked stuff to the room with our luggage , Oh can this get any better . The we headed to Pop for our first meal. Well when I tell you it was still BREAKFAST you know we were moving along at "Faster than a speeding bullet " pace !! We selected one of the 4 statiopns and all found something they liked . The Bounty Platter being the most popular. Now to those who have eaten at POP , this is a BIG breakfast , I have never come close to finishing one , but those joker scan eat, So with full bellies we headed out to our first Park



We had FP+ but we were a little earlier than they started due to our incredible good luck other than Carol being attacked by the Enterprise Key box
Our first ride was .....





Then we spent a cool time watching Simba and Conservation.
Still waiting for our first FP+ we headed over to:-


The guys loved this and the Smell Lab was a BIG hit !!

Thanks Jo!! It was GREAT to be in the park that early ,we got a lot done . We did SE, Figment , Soarin' the characters The Land , and the Simba Movie and the Mexican Boat Ride and all before supper !!I have a very hectic week with a case review for one of my individuals, have to pick up 50 Tee Shirts fo the Self Advocacy group and sort them into who gets what , in time for a Huge Picnic I am in charge of on Wednesday, I have a VERY long day tomorrow for sure !! Oh and if that all wasn't enough I have a CAR WASH on Friday

We were headed to Germany for our first Supper at Biergarten


One of the girls' mother was from Germany and she was thrilled to be eating there





Afterwards we walked back to Test Track where 3 of them did the Single rider line . After that the vote was to head back to
POP as it had been a VERY long day !!!
