I've stayed here. IF you can get it for under £40/night, it's a cracking deal. Look at the tripadvisor reviews. We would stay again. Very clean, good facilities. The downsides are no shade at the pool areas and also the "double" beds are small, even by UK standards. Be prepared to cuddle! Oh and the resort is massive, with the reception and facilities located at one end. If you're not in blocks ABCD, it's a good 5+ minute walk to reception.

It backs onto the highway, like most resorts on that side of IDrive. There is noise, but it's not unbearable.
It's right in the middle of I Drive so there are hundreds of restaurants nearby. The hotel has a restaurant that apparently does a decent breakfast but we didn't use it.

I remember staying there when I was a kid and it was International Inn back then (?).

Even I remember it being so handy for Wet and Wild as well as being tons of restaurants close by :)

:goodvibes

We spent 2 nights at the Rosen Plaza on our last trip. Its just a small walk away from the Inn and the shops/restaurants/pubs at Pointe Orlando. Theres Millers Ale House very closeby and the food there was lovely. Theres a lovely Italian place there too but I can't remember the name!! Doh! We just hit Dennys for breakfast which was just up the street. Its a nice area to stay in with lots to do within walking distance!

We've stayed there 2009 - great hotel for the price and great location.

Lots of eating nearby - millers ale house opposite, Friendly's a bit further up. Also an olive garden and bahama breeze.

I had to go look it up! Its Maggiano's! Yum!! You can check out the menu on pointeorlando dot com!

We have stayed here the last few years and have always found it perfect. There are restaurants nearby, we like the Olive Garden, Tony Romas, Bahama Breeze and for breakfast Sizzlers. This year we will try Dennys for a change. Still well worth it.

We had 14 nights there Sept 2011. Basic but clean & comfortable. Does what it says on the tin but no more.

Dh & I ended up sleeping in separate beds as tiny doubles, we woke each other up every time we moved !!!! & never used the pool - full of families where the mothers screamed at the kids who in turn just shouted back at the mothers - not for us unfortunately but ok if that's your kind of thing (sorry if a bit snobby, but as DS is 23 there is just the 2 of us - but it's just my opinion).

However there were some lovely restaurants in walking distance - Bahama breeze, ale house & joes crab shack - again IMO only.

The location is great but we are looking at Pointe
Orlando Resort for a few days next trip :-)

Are you saying you've never had a Dennys? :faint:

Check out the All-American Grand Slam :thumbsup2

Hi,
We stayed here last year and although the location was fantastic being close to many restaurants/bars,I would not stay there again as I found the rooms were very basic and small. On arrival i found the last holidaymakers clothes behind a chair , which although I was moved to another room, still made me feel a little uncomfortable.
As previously stated, it is a basic hotel but is in a great location.

We have always stayed in this hotel, it was the quality inn plaza, always found the room ok. U only sleep in there..... the restaurant food is always nice, plus the kids eat free with each adult offer is just right for us :D were there in december too :):goodvibes
