I've got rose fever dreaming about what this season will bring. Since I don't have any in bloom now I've been playing around with last years pics. Just uploaded some to the DIS gallery.

English rose Teasing Georgia. She doesn't look too healthy this spring. We'll see if she comes back strong

What editing program do you use? How do you get the black background behind your buds?

thanks

Mal

Deb ~ I remember drooling over your roses last year! I can't wait to see them this year.

I just adore that "Crown Princess"! Stunning!

Of course, they are all beautiful, but I am quite smitten with that one. :sunny:

So glad you all like them :cloud9:

Mal, I use Corel Photo Paint to edit the backgrounds. I think sometimes the leaves are distracting. In Corel I paint using the paint brush tool to get the background black. It takes awhile but that's what I do on days when I can't get into the garden.

tigger&me, that's Habitat for Humanity from Jackson & Perkins. It's finnicky so we'll see what happens this year.

Dixiedreamer, Cr. Pr. Margarete is an English rose that's very hardy. It came back strong this spring so if that's any indication of blooms it should be a good.

mary, thanks I hope they won't disappoint you this year.

Thanks Patsy, I'm glad you like them. I hope you didn't mean they are huge as in slow to load on the puter :guilty: When I reduce them too much they look awful. these are reduced and compressed.

Here's a link the other pics. I don't know why I posted 2 threads at the same time  Maybe it's just rose fever.

Huge in a nice way that the blooms were huge and healthy.
From the bulbs that you had sent to me, the gladdiolas are already growing. Hopefully the others will sprout out of the ground soon.

Oh good huge :rotfl2:
T-riffic your bulbs are up already!
The orchid is happy and doing well, the plumeria isn't doing anything. If worry helps it should grow well. I look at it all the time willing it to grow. I'm waiting to plant the seeds. It's been too early here.
DS loves the apple butter :goodvibes
