I ate there on Jan 27, requested the vegetarian shepard's pie, and my wish was granted! Fairy godmother was the chef that night, evidently. Katie was our waitress, very sweet (and highly efficient)... Request her if you can.

I see that its still showing on the lunch menu. We thought about booking for lunch so that I could order this. But seeing you were successful at dinner, I think we might stick with dinner also. If its not available, then fish and chips sounds ok. If it is available, then bonus.

We've never eaten at the restaurant, but we did get the fish and chips more than once last year at the walk-up and they were great. It looks like a fun place to eat so we are going to try it this summer. What time should I do an ADR if we want to watch Illuminations from the patio. 7:30? 7:45? I'd like to time it so we can see the show at the end of the meal.

We ate there last August and enjoyed it. DS had the steak and he thought it was very good. I also enjoyed the roast. DH was a bit indifferent to the fish and chips.
We are planning to go again this year.

We ate dinner there our last 2 trips and lunch every other. I enjoyed the F & C and the DH had the Shepards Pie which he enjoyed.
Will be on the list to eat at when we get back.

Well, the view of Illuminations was outstanding, the beer was good & cold...Our waitress was absolutely adorable & wonderful...BUT the food? Meh. So-So.

We had the shrimp cocktail, whice we did not care for at all.
And fish & chips. The fish & chips were rather tasteless. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, and overall experience, but the food left little to be desired. We ended up eating pizza at Joe's pizza on the boardwalk late night.

Having said that, I have a rule about restaurants. Barring nothing too terrible, we will always give two chances. So I am willing to try it again, simply for the experience. Hope that makes sense

I could take or leave the food too. Wasn't bad, wasn't great. We couldn't get a seat on the patio, but we hung around until they opened the patio for viewing for alll guests. I think we had a 7:15 or 7:30 ADR and the show was at 9pm. We had a kind hearted party at one of the tables on the patio. They let us stand with them at their table. The view is wonderful. It was good we had kind people though. The wall you look over to see the show is high and my DD stood on a chair to see, or else I would have had to lift her.

We ate there in October 2010 (our last disney trip). My husband is British and wanted to try it. We were also with my grandparents and he wanted them to try it. He was very disappointed, we all were. Not one of us had a meal we enjoyed, most of the food was cold. :-( Service was ok, but most of us didn't even finish our food and I had a terrible stomach ache after. We won't be going back there again.

Was there last May and I honestly liked it. I have a strong affinity for a good burger and they didn't fail here. I had the pub burger and they were kind enough to park a fried egg on it for me. Paired with a Bass Ale and it was a great meal. Had the cheese course to start which showcased English cheese very well.

We ate there in 2005 and loved it; went again in 2008, and we were really disappointed in the food and service. We avoided it until last week...we love it again. We both had Bangers and Mash which we really enjoyed, and our server was terrific.

Just ate there last week and it was the top meal of our trip. My sister had the fish and chips and she really liked it. I had the salmon and it was really good. I would definitely go back.
