We've always skipped this one thinking the food really didn't appeal to us. Can we go to the pub and listen to Pam Brody, or do we need ADR? Is seeing her worth getting ADR's? We go to Disney alot, and we're trying to find some new things to do this trip before my dh goes on deployment. We'd really like to experience WS more than we normally do.

I am thinking here as I did try to google this information for you, with no luck, either call dining and ask if there is a set schedule for Pam Brody or call the restaurant itself and ask....or wait till you get there and go to guest services at any resort and ask them to find out for you....but wait that was not your question....eeek....I would also call dining and ask if you need an ADR to go in and listen to this performer.

I have eaten there many times and have never seen her. Does she entertain in the bar area or in the restaurant? Maybe some of the experts will have more info than I have and I am heading off for another cup of coffee so that I can read better and answers questions properly. :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Pam is one of our favorite people and it's been fun spending time with her over the last few years. She truly is a great entertainer and lovely person. We've been there so much over the last 7 years that she remember our names each and every time and makes a big fuss over how the kids have grown.
Pam's schedule has slowed down a bit and she still plays piano and sings in the bar a few evenings a week. You don't need ADR's as it's in the bar area. Make sure and go, it's great. Check out some of her pictures, she's done a lot and worked with some of the greats. If you stop in they can tell you the nights that she is working, usually starting around 4 in the afternoon I believe. The days she is coming in you will see her Pam Brody cover on the piano.
Have fun and tell her the Smiths from Naples said hello!

I wish I could find her schedule. The last three times I was there, she wasn't playing, another gentleman was. Although the piano cover said Pam Brody. I think she's cut back her hours recently.

No ADR necessary for the pub though.

We enjoy both Pam and Leon (the other guy who play's).

Two quick stories. A couple years ago DW and I headed into the pub on a hot, hot summer day. We opened the door next to the piano and I said in a loud voice, "Mother, I'm home!" and Pam, who had just stood up from the piano put her arm around me and said, "Yes you are dear, yes you are. Come right in." It was the coolest thing. That's just another one of those little things that make WDW great.

The second was just this past June. DW and I again go into the pub for a DDE discounted beverage and Leon was playing Leavin on a Jet Plane while most of the CM's were gathered around one young man singing and swaying to the music. Leon altered the words to fit the situation which was the CM's tour at WDW was over and he was headed home. I asked the CM behind the bar if that was a tradition and she told me yes. It was another of those really cool things about WDW.

Thanks for the info! We will try to make it to one of her shows. The Steve Soares site, http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/, says Pam plays "Sunday & Thursday intermittently from 4:30-9:30pm Length of set: 20 minutes " It says Leon is there the other nights. I think we can combine this with seeing Off Kilter, an absolute must. Maybe we can catch Pam 4:30ish then go to Canada for Off Kilter at 5:30. It sounds like fun. Now, can you suggest any NON-alcoholic beverage from the pub?

I didn't realize they had non-alcoholic drinks there :rotfl2:
