Rose & Crown or Rose & Crown Pub

I have tried searching but I really can't find that many opinions. I am trying to figure out if the TS Rose & Crown is really that much better than the CS Rose & Crown Pub. The TS seems to be about double the price, but the CS is a more limited menu. We would really just be getting the fish & chips though, so that wouldn't make a difference. Can anyone offer any opinions for me?? It would be a dinner reservation which we were hoping to be able to sit outside to watch Illuminations although we know that is not a guarantee. If it was a guarantee to sit outside, that might make the difference. I make my ADRs on Sat (6/20) so I am just trying to make some final(ish) decisions. Thanks for any opinions!!!

If you're sitting in the pub, you won't have a view of Illuminations.

If you are in the restaurant, even if you are not sitting outside they will let you go outside and view Illuminations.

You can also get the same fish & chips at Yorkshire County Fish Shop around the corner from Rose and Crown and it is a CS instead of TS.

The Pub is right up front in the space, and the restaurant in back. In the pub, you come and go as you please. There are a limited number of tables, and you sit wherever you wish, lots of times with perfect strangers. It's a fun place to get a little something to nosh on, sip on, and to meet new friends. In the restaurant, you are escorted to a table just for your party and served. Whether you sit inside or outside in the restaurant, you can view Illuminations. You are welcome to get up and go out onto the patio to get a good view, and the servers will work your food and drink arrivals around the show. However, if you are just up in the pub area, as far as I know you will not be allowed to proceed back into the restaurant and onto the patio to view Illuminations. Also, if there's something on the pub menu that you'd like to have served to you in the restaurant, your server can do that for you.
