Rose & Crown or Le Cellier?

We've eaten at both several times, and my reaction to each is about the opposite of what you normally read on here. LC is overhyped. You can have a better steak at Outback. I think they are able to fill the place because everyone raves about it and the food quality is not what it used to be. RC, in the otherhand, has been amazing every time we have eaten there. I expected it to be blah, because frankly, what is "English" food? All I know is I have had about half the entrees in there so far and have never ever been disappointed. The also have a steak and fish dinner, which is like a sirloin steak and a little of the fish n chips and the steak blew away the steak I had at LC the previous night. So put me in the camp of skipping LC and eating at RC. Another plus? ADRs are much easier to get because everyone else is trying to have mediocre steak at LC.
