Rose & Crown for Illuminations viewing?

Has anyone ever eaten at R&C to view illuminations on the terrace? I hear it's a great spot and the staff will try hard to get you a table out there...but if they don't what a bummer! That's really the only reason I made the ADRs there. I made them for 7:40 but could only get 2 tables for our party...I'm wondering if they'll work with that for outside viewing?? Any reviews? Thanks!
