Rose & Crown closed - why??

Does anyone know why the Rose & Crown is "closed for refurb"?

What refurbs are they doing? It has been closed for at least a few weeks now.

I think it is just the bar is closed, the dining room is open. We have PS's there for dinner next Thursday.

Yes, it is just the bar that is closed. I heard from a CM that is has not gone thru a major rehab since it opened. I think he said it was going to open in June or July. All I remember is that is will be open by our next trip in August.

Yes - I've read around here that the bar/pub is being fixed up to have larger, more accessable restrooms, etc. I also read that they plan to have the pub open by July 4th. The diningroom must be open--I've heard so many people say so. I LOVED the pub & Rose & Crown and hope the new look is just as wonderful as the original.

The dining room and outside dining are open ate there over the weekend.
