1) Usually, lunch is not available at dinner.
2) The lunch items are put away and the kitchen is re-set.
3) Additionally, lunch is typically cheaper than dinner.
4) Why sell cheaper items at prime meal time?
5) You can ask your waiter/waitress, but don't be disappointed if not.
We were a bit disappointed last week that they were only serving dinner even during lunch hour. I asked if there was any way to get a lunch item and was told no. We really enjoyed our meal and were on the dining plan so the cost didn't matter but we had really looked forward to the corned beef sandwich on the lunch menu.
Thank you both. Really would like to go there, but dealing with a picky eater that would probably pick 1 or 2 things from the lunch menu, but not the dinner menu. Problem is, the way our schedule looks right now, I doubt we could get there for lunch (day we arrive in Orlando). Thought about calling, but I doubt reservations would know that for certain (lunch at dinner). Not sure how he couldn't enjoy that fish though, it's great.
We'll be there during free dining, wonder if they'd let a 60 y/o order off the kids menu?
I believe the answer is no.
It amazes me that this question gets asked over and over again.
If the restaurant differentiates their menus, you should not expect them to prepare something off menu for you. As a PP said, you can always ask, just don't expect it to happen.
It can't hurt to ask. We have been able to get lunch menu items at dinner twice (Sci Fi and I forget the other one) and all we did was ask if they thought they would ever offer this lunch item on the dinner menu. The CM very nicely said she could get it for us, no problem, they had it on hand just not on the menu. So you could ask and see. No harm, no foul
