I have a truly black thumb, so thought I'd ask the experts...
Yesterday, was our 15th anniversary, and I'm out of state, so DH sent me 1/2 dozen roses, which was thoughtful, but...
Today I have to drive home 250 miles, in an extended cab pickup truck, 45 degree weather, with two dogs.
If I leave the roses here, in a stable environment, I won't see them again until Sunday night. Will they be opened and gone by then?
If I take them with, how in the world am I going to transport them without killing them, and then I'll just have to bring them back on Sunday.
I'm sure they were expensive (I will know when I open the Mastercard bill :rolleyes1 ), so would like to get the most enjoyment out of them possible.
It was a nice thought on his part, but now I don't know what to do!

Cmon folks, I'm lucky if I get them once a year, should I take them or leave them :confused3 ?
Thanks!
Terri

Can you take a picture?

If you give them fresh water right before you leave they should be ok by Sunday. It depends on the quality of the roses too though.
The price of flowers is the main reason why I'm not a huge flower lover, they just don't last long enough. But you also don't want to discourage thoughtful behavior in a husband so you can never actually say that. ;)
