I don't know about the beer pairing, but if you go on disneyworld.com you will find an area where you can e-mail Guest Relations. You will get a quick acknowledgement and then in a few weeks you will receive a specific answer to your question from someone at WDW.

I don't remember seeing anything like this last week, but I wasn't looking for it either. They do offer a beer sampler for something like $10. HTH

We ate at the R&C and don't remember anything like that but then again we didn't ask.

I don't recall a "beer flight".

I had a beer sampler there a few years back though.

I think it was 5 different beers. Not full size glasses, but they were maybe 4-6 ounces each.

It was not particularly expensive by Disney standards. I think it was around $10 or so. It's been a while so it may be more now.

Big River Grill and Brewing on the Boardwalk has a beer sampler. It's 5 or 6 beers, small portions (4 or 5 oz), and costs something like $4.95! DH loved it so much last year, we had to go there again this year. I think it's one of our new traditions. Just my 2 cents!

They had that two years ago on Wednesdays during the Food and Wine
Festival. It was $55 plus tax per person, booked and prepaid in advance.
(It was fabulous!)

Last year, they offered a similar beer and food pairing, but each Wednesday
alternated between foreign and domestic (aka Sam Adams varieties) beers.
I happened to be there for the Sam Adams week, and it was also quite
fabulous, and around the same $$ amount as 2003.

This year? No weekly beer and food dinners! Instead, for one night in
November (have to look it up on the F&WF pages, as I don't remember
off the top of my head), for $145 plus tax, you get...a night with Jim Koch.
Brewer of Sam Adams. It better be a heckuva dinner with beer for that
price.

So to answer your question: No, the Rose and Crown doesn't offer that,
but at least you know now why you were informed that they did have
it as a special F&WF event.
