Rose and Crown Sunday Roast

I read an article that the Rose and Crown was starting a Sunday Roast. However, I can't find that on any of the menus that are available. I want to make an ADR for R&C if they will have the Sunday Roast, but won't make the ADR if it hasn't started yet or if it was for a limited time only. I'll be there the first week of June.

Also, hoping to miss the week they have lamb. Is there a regular rotation of the meat options?

When did you read that? Are you sure it was current?
Rose & Crown used to have a Sunday Roast dinner. But it has been off of the menu for a few years now. I had not heard that they were bringing it back.

This is very interesting. But I don't see any date on this article.
I went to the Disney Food Blog site and this is not noted on their site anywhere in the last month. It is an article on the Rose & Crown page. I wonder if it is current.
I always wanted to try the Sunday Roast when they served a beef meal. But I never got there for it.

Of course it is missing roast beef . I heard about it and hoped they were bringing back the roast beef .

So if my dates are correct and they keep the schedule the same:

March 12 Pork
March 19 Lamb
March 26 Turkey
April 2 Pork
April 9 Lamb
April 16 Turkey
April 23 Pork
April 30 Lamb
May 7 Turkey
May 14 Pork
May 21 Lamb
May 28 Turkey
June 4 Pork

That is good. I'll be there June 4 and I am ok with the pork option.

Knowing my dumb luck, the one Sunday we'll be there will be Turkey day. My girlfriend hates turkey.

In the article on disneyfoodblog it says served at lunch time every Sunday so I think its a fairly safe bet. Was hoping to find a review over here but I guess its too new lol

I'm hoping for a review too! If not, I'll try to do one when I get back after June 4. I have an ADR that day.

Same here. Have an ADR for the 14th May but from UK so may not be able to post until around the end of May

I had an ADR for Rose and Crown this past Sunday (June 4). I was all set to order the Sunday roast and she told me they discontinued it the previous week. :-( She said it was getting to be summer and no one wanted Sunday Roast in the heat. Later during our meal, a chef came over and asked how our meal was and I told him I had come specifically for the Sunday Roast and was disappointed they discontinued it. He told me that some weeks it sold like hotcakes and some weeks it didn't sell at all. So they stopped serving it.

I ordered the potato leek soup only. We had eaten fish and chips at the counter service place a few days previously, so I didn't feel like ordering the fish and chips from the lunch menu in the R&C. And I didn't want to order steak for lunch in the heat. And nothing else appealed to me. Oh well. It means I had room to get a chocolate croissant in France and pot stickers/spring rolls kid meal in China.

We went there the week before they stopped it and the server didn't mention that the Roast was on so we forgot all about it. After we had ordered we remembered but thought she would have mentioned it if it was on. When it came time to pay we mentioned we thought they were doing a Roast and it turned out she had just completely lost track of the days and had no idea it was Sunday. The roast was on but she hadn't told us and they don't have anything on the menu mentioning it. I'm not surprised it was hit and miss seeing as it wasn't really advertised well in the restaurant. They should have at least had a specials leaflet they could hand out
