Okay, I had dinner at Rose and Crown with my parents last week for the first time. We got a seat outside on what I would call an upper patio? This was an area attached to the restaurant and if you were looking at the water it was to the left of the restaurant. There was only one table in front of us that was kind of in the corner of he patio it was a pretty good view, we only missed some of the really high fireworks due to he awning.
Anyway, it would seem those tables that are on the upper patio area that are directly in front against the railing and those that are at those tables (I think maybe only 4 of them) directly below them with the umbrellas that got closed right before the show started would have the best views of illuminations. What are these areas called? I have heard people refer to a patio or a terrace? Are these interchangeable terms or is one the upper area and one the lower area?
I would like to make a reservation next time I go and take my kids. They would really enjoy this and I would like to ask for this area. I know it is not gauranteed but it doesn't hurt to ask.
