Rose and Crown or Teppan Edo?

Currently I have an ADR for Rose and Crown at 7:50pm in Nov. I've been wanting to eat at Teppan Edo before I ever made any ADR's. The time seemed perfect for R&C and fireworks??? Any thoughts, please. Should I switch to Teppan Edo - better food? Traveling with DD5 and DS7, they are adventurous eaters.

Keep that R&C ADR!! It's a perfect time if you want to see Illuminations from there. We've always enjoyed our meals there, and my DH loved the ale flight.
If you live in any city in North American, you can experience the same meal as you'll get at Teppan Edo (more or less). It's basically a Benihana/hibachi style restaurant with Disney prices.

I cant believe im saying this, cause I LOVE LOVE LOVE Teppan Edo! the food! the entertainment! Its wonderful! But.....keep your R&C ressie. For the same reason the pp had indicated. The view of illuminations is wonderful. That will probably be a more memorable experience for your family.

I have a R&C ADR for around the same time in September and my concern is people hoarding their table and trying to kill time since it's so close to Illuminations. I bet we are sat inside because no one will be wanting to get up at that time. No biggie since we can go to the observation area, but I keep checking for a 7:30ish ADR.

Regardless, I would still pick R&C over Teppan Edo. The menu at Teppan is smallish and we have three very good hibachi places here so it's nothing new or exciting to us. If you don't have a hibachi place where you live, you would enjoy it though.

I'm in the same camp as all the others. Keep the R&C reservation. I really enjoyed the food there. It was fresh and different. The view is great. I can get food from a mall in my local area that is much better than TeppanEdo.

Love Rose and Crown! I'm still dreaming of the steak that comes with the surf and turf. (and the homemade tartar sauce is sooo good too!)
