I have never been in the resturant so I'm not sure how it is set up but I'm wondering if there may been seating available for 10 outside? I'm hoping to score ADRs during Illuminations but having such a large group I wonder if this would be impossible. Would it make a difference when making the request when booking the ADR? Even if not do they allow you to go outside during Illuminations to view?

There are no tables for ten, but they can put tables together. It can take longer to seat large parties anywhere because they have to wait for adjoining tables to clear up. The view for Illuminations, at least from your table, is another issue. They will try to honor you seating request, but there is never a guarantee. Generally, you must take whatever seating is available when your table is called and with a large group the odds may be against you.

But yes, no matter where you are seated there is a private viewing patio for Illuminations that your party will be escorted to. It is just for the patrons of the R & C, but you will be standing. It is a good view.
I think the chances of your party of 10 being seated outside are slim. You can not request at the time you book, but you can request when you check in. But they have been enforcing the rule that you take the first table available and do not now let people wait for outside tables.
Have Fun

The patio area is kind of narrow and crowded. Tables/chairs are back to back. There was a party of 8 seated below us on the lower patio, and they were sat 4 and 4 at tables diagonal from each other. If you're willing to do something like this, it probably won't be a problem. There seemed to be a larger party inside too, so if you do get sat inside, you can go out for the fireworks to the viewing area which is standing room.

Last time I had the same sized group and at the Liberty Tree in MK we were seated at 2 seperate tables but next to each other which was fine. If we for sure will be able to see the show from the resturant even if we are seated inside then that would be great.

You'll definitely be allowed to move outside when the show starts. We were on the upper patio and our server told us to feel free to move around to see better.
