Rose and Crown/Illuminations

Is it correct that you can possibly get an outside seat at Rose and Crown and that is a good place to view Illuminations? I think I remember hearing something about this, but just wanted to confirm.

Yes. I've done it several times and it's great. Make your ressies for 7:15-7:30pm, and you'll be there for 9pm Illuminations. Request an outdoor table when you get to the hostess stand. If you decide to sit inside, you can leave the dining room when Illuminations starts and walk outside onto the patio to view it. Everyone does it! Have fun.

1) You might want an earlier ADR.
2) By 7:50, most people are already seated on the patio.
3) And they probably will stay through the fireworks.
