Rose and Crown/Illuminations Timing for Christmas Week

Couldn't find the answer to this, so apologize if it has been asked & answered already. Helping friends who are going over Christmas week - got a 7:55pm ADR at R&C for Dec. 29th, but checked hours and saw that Illuminations is at 10:30 that night. I wasn't sure if they would stay open later, but you can only book till 8pm at this point. Thought I had read in older posts that on later nights they sometimes stay open till 9, but wasn't sure if they would add times as it got closer. If not, would they stay open for people to use the patio area if they wanted to linger? Just wanted to see if it would still be a useful ADR for having a spot for the show. If anyone has info. or experience with it on a late night, TIA!
