Rose and crown harmonious view?

So I snagged a 8 pm rose and crown reservation for my parents. They had to cancel their California Grill reservation last night due to a trip to urgent care. I wanted to find something to replace it and make their trip better. I know in the past it has a good view for illuminations does it still? Is 8 a good time for a 9:45 fireworks show? Thanks!

I know they now have the fireworks dining packages. I got one that starts at 9:00. I know the patio for Rose and Crown is for those who bought the fireworks package. I think if they are done eating by 9:45 they could go outside some where near.

I just got a normal reservation. Does this mean they have no chance of sitting outside or is the fireworks package you eat and then have access to a viewing area?

Yes with the package you get food and sit outside until fireworks are over. Sorry

Maybe you can search Rose and Crown fireworks package. Someone may have canceled and you get lucky and get one. You have to pay with a credit card when you reserve it though.

The rose a crown does not have a great view of the main screen. I wish they had dining packages that guaranteed you a spot right in front of the screen.

From some previous reviews it doesn't look Rose and Crown is the optimal spot to see the whole show. It apparently doesn't have a great view of the made barge/projection circle/whatever they are calling it. But it seems like you can still see the other stuff and fireworks pretty well, plus you get to sit down.

Ate there last night and watched from the garden right next to the Package people. I had no idea that big ball in the middle had a screen because it is facing the old FP+ area between the two stores and from Rose & Crown you look at the side. Still nice you got to see a couple of the smaller barges.
