I'm taking my beautiful wife to these restaurants for the first time . Can anyone tell me what they think of these two restaurants please .
Thank you in advance

You might have a little more luck with this posting it on the Restaurants board. :goodvibes

I have eaten at both these places. Rose and Crown is a more laid back pub type of restaurant. The fish and chips are excellent and the lamb dish is quite good. Le Cellier is a fancier kind of steakhouse. The fillet is very very good, and they have a good cheese soup as well. I'm sure you will both enjoy these places! :)

I have to start by saying that you must be a big sweetheart to start your post by saying that you are "bringing your beautiful wife". Very sweet!!! I love LeCellier, it is a MUST DO for our family everytime we go. As for Rose & Crown, it's on our list of 'lets do it' on our trip in August.

I appreciate the help . And gottalluvmickey , I am a very lucky man to have a woman like my wife as my life partner . She deserves anything and everthing I can give her and do for her ! So thanks for the compliment .

Love them both! Go to Rose & Crown for dinner and request outdoor seating-GREAT view of Illuminations if you time your reservation right!

Le Cellier: the food is really really really good and the atmosphere is so cozy.

I don't think you can lose at either one!

I've never eaten at the Rose and Crown, but Le Cellier was quite possibly the best meal I've eaten at Disney. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was great, and the food was delicious. I think your wife will love it!

We have dinner res. for 8pm Fri. so I'm hoping that we can get a good table outside for Illuminations . Thanks for your feedback ktharee

I can't tell you about Le Cellier, but we ate at Rose and Crown last summer, and we all loved it. Unfortunately, they were out of Fish and Chips which was what I really wanted, but I got the roasted chicken. It was served with garlic bread pudding, which turned out to be one of the best things I had to eat during the entire trip. We had our reservation early in the evening (about 5:30 I believe) but this year we'll try for a later dinner so that we can catch illuminations.
