what time should I make our dinner ADR's in order to maybe get a table outside and watch Illuminations? Thanks.

We had a reservation for 8:50 pm - got in drinks and appies and had an inside table. The waitress specifically asked if we wanted our entrees held until after Illuminations was over so we could go outside and watch it. I think you can ask for this to be done and they will accomodate you. It had been raining prior to the show so an outside table would have been uncomfortable and wet.

I would say you would be safe with a reservation between 8:15 and 9:00.

We have had reservations at 7:40 a few times and were seated outside on the patio. We watched Illuminations with desert. We would finish up and take a leisurely walk back to the BC from a nearly empty WS. It was great

We have sat on the patio twice while eating at Rose and Crown. Both times, our reservations were for 7:30pm. If you wait much later, most of the patio table will already be taken. People will wait at their table until Illuminations is over. There is no guarantee that you will get a patio table, but we have had good luck.

We had ressies for 8pm right before the holidays and it was just perfect timing. We got a great table on the lake and had a fantastic view of the lake from our table which meant a great view of illuminations. We got some major pixie dust for that table!

During busy times, such as Summer, I would recommend 7:30.

We tried 7:40 last June and were too late to snag outside seating.
