I heard so much about how tasty it is that I really want to try it! Does anyone know where I can buy a bottle in DTD? as I want to bring it back to our room and celebrate Christmas Eve with it! (along with some nice sweet snacks!) :cloud9:

I don't think I've seen wine sold in bottles at Downtown Disney.

But I do know you can buy bottles in Epcot. They sell this at Italy in Epcot.

Edit to add: I think they have this in gift baskets you can purchase from the Disney Florist.

This is an example. This arrangement is a bit pricey at $150, but it includes Rose Regale and it can be delivered to your resort:

thanks for your info. That night is my first night so it's a no park day for us. Therefore we are not going to epcot

You can get it at the Polynesian, too. If I remember right, the store is on the second floor of the Great Ceremonial House.

It is quite yummy. I have it at quite a few of the Delexe Resorts gift shops.

Enjoy!

The cook shop place at DTD (the one that used to have the bakery etc - cannot for the life of me remember the name!) may also have wine. I am pretty certain I saw some in October.

Hi again,

The typical bottle is 750 ml. I just checked my supply. In our local store, we pay about 18 for this size bottle.

If I remember correctly WDW charges about the same price, but the bottle was smaller. I do not recall the size of the bottle, but my guess is that is is 500 ml. I think they may also have the larger size, but I cannot recall the price. I just remember thinking that the price was about the same as I pay at home, but the bottle was smaller at WDW.

I thank WDW for introducing us to Banfi wines. We tried an Italian wine pairing at the Food and Wine Festival a few years back, and we love it.

We stumbled on the wine at the Polynesian, when we were eating at Kona Cafe, very very good, and afterwards walked around and found the wine.

Not to get off the topic, but I like shopping at the Polynesian. In addition to finding the wine, we also lucked out and found a Lilo costume for our DD and straight monorail track for our DS at stores at the Polynesian. We could not find either the costume or the straight track anywhere else.
