We are going to HS on Tue May 14. We have FP for SDD in the evening and have littles that love Toy Story. I had thought to arrive by 8am for 9am open and do the Woody and Jessie M&G first thing, hoping to be one of the first few in that line, then ride TSM. We could do AS2 third but if line is too long we can ride in the evening.

Thoughts on how this might work?

We rope dropped the Buzz and Woody meet last March when TSM was down to 1 track and then went to TSM with just a 20 min wait because it was after the original surge. Not sure if that will work this time.

When we went in January, everyone was led to TSL before park open as usual. Buzz, Woody and Jessie did not appear for photos until actual park open time. So it may be better to ride TSMM and then get in line for photos if you have 15 minutes or more until park open once you walk into TSL. As always, your results may vary.

The line up queue is open at RD along with all of the other attractions even if Woody and Jessie are not there. So I'd head straight there while everyone else is running for SDD and claim your spot. Check your dates and make sure it isn't a EMM TSL day as that can leave already existing long lines leftover from the EMM crowd. We've done EMM twice and the one thing we haven't accomplished is a W&J meet and greet as the lines are long even with EMM.
