Rope Drop Wait Times

Just curious if FP+ has had any effect on the stand by times for the big attractions at park opening.

What would the wait time be if you "walked" straight to Toy Story Mania or Soarin?

I have a 3 year old. So, unless a tie him to a tree outside the park, he's going to keep us from making a mad dash to the first attraction. But you can assume we will be there for park opening and walk straight to the attraction.

During spring break week March 22, I did rope drop at DHS. We were in the middle of the rope drop pack and walked quickly but did not run to TSM. By the time we got back there, people were already returning with FP+ times. We waited about 20 minutes to get on the ride. I think the biggest impact FP+ has on the immediate line at this ride at RD is it no longer peels off people going straight to the kiosks to get FP for later in the day, so everyone goes straight into the ride.

The following day we did RD for Soarin'. We walked from International Gateway entrance directly to the ride and waited less than 10 minutes.

I'm curious about this too. I know some FP+ times don't start right away but we are talking minutes. Though I'm not sure who would FP something so early if they could so it anyway.

Only think I did that with on my trip is AK. so I could do safari first, Everest then dinosaur then leave haha

Thanks. Twenty minutes is not too bad. But I guess the days of getting on twice the first 1/2 hour are over.

We just went to DHS on Saturday the 12th for AM EMH. My DS and I were the first ones in line at RD. We went directly to the Jedi Training sign up then got in,one for Toy Story (by about 8:05). We waited no more than 15 minutes. But when we got off the ride, I think the standby line was around 50 minutes.
