So tried for E and A fastpasses today for 5/12 and 5/13- no luck!!

I have an 8:05 reservation at Crystal Palace. Im assuming if I get to Fantasyland right when they open the rope I should be at the beginning of the standby line. Correct? Do they usually open the rope at 9? Should I skip breakfast and just go over to Fantasyland to wait?

if you have 8:05 at Crystal Palace you will be able to eat a little before you run over since the park doesnt open til 9

I've done Crystal Palace at 8:15 and been able to dine and dash. What helps is getting your server to give you the check ASAP so you can pay. We normally requested it before we even placed our drink orders and had it squared away before our first plate of food. That way you can eat and leave at your leisure.

I would want to be out of Crystal Palace by 8:50.:)

That will put you at the "Fantasyland Rope" before Magic Kingdom Welcome is over thus being in front of everyone coming from the Gate.:)

That should also give you a couple of minutes for some great "empty Park" pictures.:)

Just make sure it is not an EMH morning!:)

Also, keep checking for A&E FP's. When they first came available, people were snatching them like crazy just as placeholders. I was one of them - we had one definite day planned for MK and couldn't decide which day would be our 2nd day there, so I grabbed one for each day. Now that our plans are set, I dropped the one I didn't need. I have a feeling others will do the same especially given that you can only have 3!! Although now I'm thinking I may drop the one that I do have since we also have an 8:05 ADR - I'd rather hit them at RD and save the FP for a ride we'd want to do twice or later in the day.

Im actually thinking it might make more sense tp just do this instead of the fastpass. I feel like wed be in and out.
