Rope Drop at MK with EMH?

I'm finally going to Disney again in the end of December, and one of my top to-do is to see the Rope Drop at MK! But after searching various websites some people say that on the morning with early EMH where the park opens an hour earlier, they only do a short condensed version of the Rope Drop/Welcome show at MK. Can anybody confirm? If its at the end of December when its crowded is it possible that they do a full version even with early EMH?

We attended the EMH MK rope drop a lot last time we were there in December and we always got the full show.

Ah! Thank you! What time did you get there? The park opens at 8...so I'm thinking I should be there by 7:30?

We generally got the 7am bus each day so whatever time that got us there, most times we were they by 7:30am. Most times we would be about 20 people back in the line for the turnstile, occasionally closer, but the turnstile lines don't really matter as you are corralled in front of the viewing area for the show and once that's over everyone squeezes through the tunnels to enter Main Street. You just want to get there by 7:45am.

Any day can have a shortened show due to various reasons. Usually it will be the full show, EMH or not. In other words, if it's not the full show, it's not because of the EMH. There is really no way to know before-hand.

Magic Kingdom Welcome is currently at 7:50 AM on AM EMH days,so 7:30 AM would be good.
