How is the line to Peter Pan now that everyone is rushing to A&E and Mine Train? Any tips? Would like to briefly experience the new que before the ride.

I think heading to PP first is a great idea. The new queue is worth seeing, but not if the wait is over 30min.

PP at rope drop was our strategy this year, and worked two days that week that we tried it. We didn't run down Main St, but were able to walk through the PP queue and experience it with minimum wait.

I was at Disney in early May so not super recent, but I headed straight for Peter Pan and I just walked on the ride. I don't know how higher crowd levels would change the wait. It can't be more than 5 minutes.

We didn't make a mad dash at all, a leisurely pace with a stroller and there was no line at all when we were there in June this year. I've never paid attention to how long it takes to walk it.

The question is... how many photopass pictures did you get along the way? I can't resist those so early in the morning.

This is my plan. Shhhh...don't tell anyone or the word will get out ;)

From the gate to Peter pan, about how many minutes does it take you to get there?

This seems like a very personal question. I feel like people will laugh at my time if I share!!! :) I just can't do it. I don't even know what would be a good time or lousy one. But I am getting in shape for my next visit. :yay:

In July DD and DH walked straight onto PP then rode it again to go through the queue a little slower. I went to sdmt and rode it first, by the time I got to PP the wait was still only 5 minutes. When my boys met us from a few times on Space Mountain (maybe 45 minutes), the wait time was 25 minutes.

The reason I asked if because our fast pass for Peter pans flight ends at 4:05 (on a party night) so we can't get in until 4:00 but I was wondering if it was a possibility to make it (factoring in the grace period). I have literally no idea how far it is from the gate because I haven't been in like 20 years!!!

I think I have the right video here. My iPhone is not cooperating at the moment. Grrrrr. I think this should be the walk to PP at rope drop.

We've done PP at rope drop the last few trips (on the days when we didn't do space first) and it always was a walk on

PP was our first ride on the 4th of July after a few castle pics and it was kind of too early. We did not get to really experience the que because we walked right on. We did let some people pass in order for the kids to make some shadows but for the teenagers it just did not seem right to let people pass when heading to the first ride of the day.

:confused3 Not sure why I'd be ridiculed, but I suppose if someone wants to do that, have at it. I won't be the one to be embarrassed. That's how long it took me to walk straight there last trip.

I think it sounds like a good time. You should be fine.
