Rope Drop Advice with Park Hoppers

Hi, My DW, DD18, DS14, and I will be going to DLR for 3 days of Park Hopping, Genie+ fun for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, March 9th-11th. This is our first DL trip in 11 years, and we are staying at a Good Neighbor Hotel.

Currently, we have our starting park reservation for each day to be Disneyland Park. But I am considering swapping one day to start at DCA, especially Saturday when there is no early entry at DCA.

As you know, DLR hotel guests get into DL early on March 9th and DCA early on March 10th and 11th. Considering Incredicoaster is in refurb for all 3 of those days, would you swap one of those DL start days and instead start at DCA, or just start at DL all 3 days?

I've heard rope dropping DCA on DLR hotel guest early entry days is not ideal, since those hotel guests all go to RSR and other E-ticket rides and cause lines to get long. Is that reason valid?

Personally, I would change your Sat reservation to DCA. It’s possible that RSR is down at rope drop, so if that is your only reason for switching your starting park to DCA, you may or may not be able to rope drop it. If you rope drop DCA on an EE day you will be behind the EE crowd that queues up closer to RSR than the non-EE crowd.

Its not a bad idea, you should be on racers in 30ish mins at rope drop

The only issue is that morning in DCA you just get less done GOTG mission break out will have a line already Webslingers line might be ok but can also get up there quickly

I'd hit the Peir after Racers unless the other cars rides are must do because the Increcoaster, Goofy Sky etc will still be low lines
