Hollywood Studios & The Welcome Dinner!
We woke up pretty early on Tuesday.... ate breakfast in the room, got dressed and ready to go so we could be there when Hollywood Studios opened at 9 a.m.! Of course, we were extra excited because it was our first time on Toy Mania! My Mom, unfortunately, woke up not feeling so good. She was really sick!

We think she ate something bad at Yak & Yeti but we were really not sure. So, she ended up staying in bed all day & even missed the Welcome Dinner!
Joe raced over (well walked really quick) to the Rockin Roller Coaster to get fast passes while I walked with the girls to get in line for Toy Mania. Out of the FIFTY MILLION people there and being just about blind, I managed to spot my MIL from the crowd (we had not planned on meeting up), but it was a nice surprise!
So we ended up spending some good QT with my in-laws. Absolutley loved Toy Mania....my right arm was soooo....sore after that ride!
Hannah got her face painted, Kaitlyn was "too old," (she is 11 going on 20) to get her face painted, or at least that is what she tells me!
Does anyone have a "tradition" when they go to Disney, something you do as a family every time you go? Well we do, every trip we take the same picture on the Star Wars cruiser. We have done it every year since Hannah was 2! I have to go home and find our very first one to show you guys how much they have grown:
Then (Hannah was really distracted with something?)
Now:
We left around Noon to eat lunch at the lodge and check on my Mom and get ready for the Welcome Dinner at Raglan Road Irish Pub. We were also waiting on the last two from my family to arrive, my brother, aka my escort, (DJ), sister (Donna) and her daughter (Madison) who was also celebrating her 6th birtday.

They made it to the Welcome Dinner with about 2 minutes to spare!

My mom still was feeling good so she stayed in her room. I hated that she missed out on the first time the ENTIRE family was together!
Here we are leaving for the Welcome Dinner:

The Welcome Dinner experience was both FANTASTIC, seeing my brother and sister, Donna for the first time was GREAT!

They haven't been to Disney since they were little so they were sooo...happy to be there, which makes me happy!

On the other hand, my SIL, Rhonda didn't say a word to me except to tell me she thought the personalized water bottles I made for the welcome bags were "creepy." No, thank you, cute idea, no, just "creepy."

That aside, everything turned our great! Raglan Road is a PERFECT location for a welcome dinner or even a reception. They are so accomodating and attentive and the food was great! They put us in the "SNUG" area which is really tucked away so it's really private!
