Awesome pics!!! You picked a great photographer!!!
Also, I noticed that you were wearing glasses in some of the pics. I am a fellow 4-eyed bride to be and am not sure what I am going to do. I don't know how bad your vision is or if you have to wear glasses all the time, but I am really blind, like -5 and I wear glasses everyday 24/7. Well, I wear glasses every moment except for sleeping, showering and for pics if I remember to take them off, which is only like half the time.
I am leaning towards wearing them for everything except some posed pics since I need them to do everything except for just standing there. Hopefully someone can help me locate the camera lol!! I was wondering if you had any of the same dilemmas. Also, I have tried contacts before and I hate touching my eye so they are not an option for me
.
OHHHH....Britibridy, you have no idea...I'm legally blind without glasses, like -9 since I was in the 2nd grade. 24/7 is an understatement!! Contacts have never been an option for me either, they have never been able to correct me enough for contacts. And even with my glasses I have 20/40 vision. Yes I had the same dilemma, twice!I decided to wear my glasses for the ceremony, because I wouldn't be able to see anything or even read my vows, let alone walk down the aisle without killing myself. With alot of the posed pics, I let Joe take care of my glasses and just lead me around. I think it's a great compromise! Definitely wear your glasses during the ceremony, it's toooo....important to miss!!!! And just take them off for as many pics as you comfortably can. Don't stress too much over it! You'll look beautiful either way! As you can see (not pun intended
) I picked a photo of me with glasses in my signature, it was one of my favorites!

Aww your pictures were great and the girls crying was so sweet!![]()
Catching back up. I love POR, it is such a quiet beautiful resort, isn't it? Great pictures, everyone looks like they are enjoying the first day. I loved your comment about how exciting it is, no tired feet, a lot of expectations of fun times ahead. I do WDW full force, I could not imagine staying more than 5 nights. Not sure I could slow down.
Looking forward to more updates.![]()
Sorry about your eye problems, are you allowed to drive since your vision isn't perfect even with glasses? I know I've failed the vision test when I hadn't updated my prescription in a whileI can definitely relate!
Thanks for the helpful advice. I think I will end up wearing glasses for the ceremony and take some pics later with them off. The only thing I worry about is that I may squint in the pics where I am blind. Did you do something special to avoid this? Your pics without glasses look great!!! Well actually they all do![]()
Jodi, your pictures were truly fantastic!!!!!!!!!![]()

Beautiful pictures, Jodi!
You may have mentioned it earlier (I probably missed it) but who was your photographer? We are using DPS for our wedding, and I think your pics look great! Whoever it is, I would like to add them to our list of requests!
Jodi your pictures are beautiful. I was tearing up seeing the ones with your daughter crying! It was so sweet that she was that emotional over the it...man I am doing it again writing this!I am such a sap!!
Your pictures came out BEAUTIFUL!!!
I also have very bad eyes but I can correct them with contact lenses. I do wear reading glasses (the cheaters) when I read or work at the computer.
If I were you I would definately wear my glasses. If you wear them ALL the time then this will show the real you. Maybe take them off for a few posed pictures. I know when I take off my glasses and take out my contacts I get disoriented and would not enjoy my ceremony and reception without being able to see it.
