What time can you usually get into your room?

Usually the rooms are ready at 1.30pm

They are pretty good about dropping the rope right at 1:30. Usually there are pretty good crowds of people waiting to get to their staterooms in the elevator lobbies.

Can change though for any number of reasons. I've been on two cruises where the rooms were off-limits until about 2.30.

If you are doing a back to back cruise, you will often be allowed to your room immediately upon reboarding. Disney does ask that you not go back to your room after general boarding begins.

We did this in February. We switched staterooms so we went and unpacked (had precoordinated with our new stateroom host so our room was already done and luggage moved). Then we left and hung out in Cove Cafe or Satellite falls while the masses jostled around the ship until muster drill.
