Rooms on Wonder

Good Morning!

Just looking at things for my Spring 2017 cruise. We currently have a Verandah room 6082 (can't remember the category - sorry!), and I was just looking and it looks like I can get the next category ... which I believe would be deck 7 for just a few dollars more.

I guess I am wondering if there are advantages to being on Deck 6 vs. Deck 7??? Or even 8??
Would like to stay mid ship (I think??!) ... hoping for less motion sickness that way?

I like Deck 7 aft on Magic & Wonder. It's where we always sail. I think it's a very convenient deck. We rarely use the elevators when going up to the pool deck or down to the movie theater.

We've cruised on both Deck 6 and 7 on the Wonder, and haven't noticed much difference. The mid-ship verandahs on the Wonder have Plexiglas walls, as opposed to the solid white walls toward the back of the ship, so I would definitely recommend the mid-ship.

If you have children that will be using the club, deck 6 midship is the best place to be. It's just so super easy to pop down a floor and drop them off or pick them up. If I could afford it on our next cruise, I would totally stay deck 6 mid again. We've got a porthole next time, though and we're on deck 2. Convenient to the atrium and restaurants, but not as much to the kid's clubs.

I agree with the previous post. We had deck 7 on our first cruise, and just got off the EBPC on the Wonder and had a room on deck 6. Deck 6 was more convenient to drop off the kids at the clubs and nursery, and also to pop back up to the room from the dining rooms. I think we'lol book on deck 6 again for our next cruise.

We love deck 6 on the Magic/Wonder. Very central to everything.
