I just remembered reading somewhere that there are rooms at the Sequoia Lodge that have 1 Kingsize bed for 2 instead of 2 Double beds for 4.

Does anyone know which room type you get when you book for 1 adult and 1 child?

I remember those dreadful nights sleep last time when I shared a double with my DD. She moves so much in the night I was running on 2hr sleep and Disney magic the whole trip.

Is it worth me ringing Disney back to see?
I would prefer the option of a little more sleep if poss :rotfl2: Although I expect I'll be too excited to sleep much!

yep - much better to phone ahead and request rather than be landed with it when you get there!

never actually seen it though...

We got a king size bed when I stayed at the Newport Bay with my DD! I was surprised though - I just assumed we would be in a 2 doubles room.

So yes, I would ring them and ask them to the request on your booking - it can only help.

Thanks guys!
I'll give them a ring at some point to see if I can specify seperate beds.
I'm sure we'll manage if its not possible though.
