We will be staying for the first time at VWL in a 1 bd. Any suggestions for room requests? Have heard of the lovely dumpster view which I hope to avoid .

I usually ask for a view of the pool and/or lake upper floor and for the last three visits been on the ground floor with a woods view. Maybe you should ask for the infamous dumpster view - you'll be sure not to get it.
