Rooms at the Contemporary Resort

Could anyone give me some input on the rooms at the Contemporary Resort? We booked through Shades of Green so I know we will be in the North Wing (or so I am assuming) I will be traveling solo with a 14 year old and 2 1/2 year old twin boys. I am looking for some advise on which location would be best for us as fare as ease getting around and convenience. Thank you for any input you can provide

while I have not stayed in a wing room....I can tell you that the CR is not the sprawling type of resort like say the CBR/CSR can be....really....any location I think you'll find pretty good. I would suggest if you can...to ask for a water view....that way in the evenings you may be able to watch the EWP right from your balcony!

I'd recommend requesting close to the food court. Also, request the bottom floor if you would like a patio to sit on.

Our first on property stay was at the CR in the north wing facing the parking lot and MK. The wing rooms at CR are very nice indeed. They are among the largest on Disney property at 422 sq/ft. There are two queen beds and a day bed. The room can sleep 5 people. The wing rooms above the first floor have no patios to sit on, only the first floor has this. The room colors are very bright and "modern designed". There is a ceiling fan that for us, was kept on all the time, it made the room cooler even with the AC going. The bathroom is seperated with the tub/shower and sink in one part and the toliet/ additional sink in another seperated by a door. There is plenty of storage space in closet and drawers. Located in the closet is the room safe.

Our family loves the CR, and when we first decided to start staying on property, being on monorail route was felt as a must. Now with all the children gone but the 13 yo DD, it's her favorate place to stay, we still feel that CR is our "home".
