Rooms at Caribbean Beach

Looking to stay at Caribbean Beach resort since the sky liner will going when we are at Disney. Have the rooms been refurbished recently? Just wondering if it’s worth $40 more then French Quarter?

The rooms have not been refurbished recently, it was 2014/2015. The whole Old Port Royale area which includes check in, food court and table service were all just refurbished.

Prices have gone up due to the Skyliner. Whether that is worth the upcharge I guess no one knows yet...

Room refurbs finished in 2015. In our opinion, yes CBR is worth the extra $$ over POFQ even before the Skyliner and recent improvements to Old Port Royale, which are fantastic.

I haven’t stayed FQ, but I have stayed Riverside. I enjoyed CBR more than Riverside, both had beautiful grounds but I thought the rooms and beds were better at CBR, as well as their pool!

I think with the skyliner, carribean beach will have an edge over French quarter. The rooms seem nice as they are, but add in a room refurbishment and it would not be close.

Our family totally enjoy all the Mod resorts, but still prefer both the PO resorts over CBR. But they would have absolutely no problem if I said that CBR is where we are staying.

Is the skyliner the only thing you are looking at? They are two totally different resorts with regards to size, and along with that number of bus stop, and ease of getting to the food court. And the themed pool.
