I checked out our reservations online, and our rooms have been assigned. Anyone have any input about 1042, 1044, or 1046?

Thanks!!

Not those particular cabins but I stayed on Deck 1 January 2002- we liked the location.

Hey....our large group last Feb had those exact cabins plus 1048 and 1050!!!!

They were great. Don't let anyone tell you Deck 1 is no good....it really is a fantastic area. Very convenient to Deck 3/4 and the atrium/guest service and restaurants. Very quiet...did not hear any noise.

And, the best part is when you disembark and return from shore activities....it is a wonderful feeling to see everyone cramming for the elevators when all you have to do is walk down the hall to your room!!! Absolutely loved deck 1....

The only disadvantage to deck 1 is that the portholes are two smaller ones instead of 1 larger one. But, once I got used to them it was fine....as long as I could look out and see the ocean and have natural light come in, I was happy!!

I second how good deck 1 is.... I actually stayed in 1044 on my first DCL cruise, and it's a great location, just walk right on off on disembarkment when you are at the ports... can just go up the stairs for dinner or the night time activities, and it is SO MUCH easier to catch an elevator on deck 1...

Also, was very quiet on deck 1. .
