Rooms allocated?

We're off next Tuesday and I want to email DLH to ask that we can have connecting rooms, I asked when booking but last year although we had adjoining rooms they weren't connecting as they had been all previous visits.
How soon before are the rooms allocated so I know when to email, thanks!

Rooms tend to get allocated a week before your arrival

I,d email them now. your rooms are usually allocated around 3 days before you check in.
