Has anyone stayed in these reclassified rooms? I am planning on taking my niece on a cruise next summer and am wondering if the obstruction is really that noticeable. Thanks for any input. These boards are wonderful.

Have not stayed in one yet, but on October 2 will be in 6134. We like the 7th deck, but chose 6 because the views looked hardly obstructed. 7th looked more obstructed. If you look on Barb's website, she has pictures of all four.

We stayed in 7120 (before it was reclassified and we paid cat. 5 price) and have it booked for our Nov. cruise again. The view is obstructed in one corner, but to me it's not that bad -- esp. when you consider the price difference. I actually like having one corner blocked becasue it gives me a place to hang out in the shade and read without getting scorched. Two people can easily stand at the railing and look out without one having to lean out past the obstruction. I can say this: When we stayed in it and it was cat 5, I didn't think it was obstructed enough to complain about paying cat 5 price. So now that it's a 7, I love it even more.

DD and I had one for our January cruise and it was awesome!

For the Repo Cruise got 7620 and can hardly wait!

The obstructions are very minimal!

We're in 6134 for the 10 night Dec cruise. Can't wait - we also have 6132 for the kids. I agree about looking forward to a little shade. DH gets burned to a crisp just from looking out a window!
