Room Upgrade at RPH

I've booked RPH with the annual pass holders code (aph) and got $129 for a standard room. My question, is there a way to get a room upgrade by joining the Loews program? If so, is it an upgrade upon checkin and first come, first serve? Hoping for a water view.

It is unlikely you will get a room upgrade as a newly joined youfirst member. You really need a few stays to make it effective. However, just ask really nicely at the front desk. You may get lucky.
