I couldn't find the CSR thread, so I'm just posting this separately. Where do you all store your suitcases while you're there. The room doesn't look that big, so I'd like to find somehwere to have the suitcases out of the way. Is there room under the bed?

Can't wait. We'll be there June 7-16!!

We always use the closet, although we haven't stayed at CSR. They don't have the closet space (usually near the bathroom sinks?) at CSR?

I suppose you could store some baggage underneath your bed if it wasn't too big. There is a space for luggage in the room. We had two GIANT suitcases and there was plenty of room for them.

That's where we put ours - in the corner by the sink, under our hanging clothes. ::yes::

We were at CSR for Mother's Day weekend. We had a great time. We were in building 6B - nice and quiet, but not too far from the pool. There are four of us 2 adults and 2 kids - each kid had a suitcase (small one on wheels) that fit under the bed just fine. DH and I had a duffel on wheels - it also went under the bed. We had another suitcase that brought food, drinks, napkins, paper plates, books, sunscreen and other assorted stuff - it also fit under the bed just fine. A large hardside suitcase might be too deep/wide, but smaller suitcases and softsides fit fine under the bed.

We had our toiletry bag on the luggage rack by the sink (there's no shelf under the mirror like some other resorts have). The dirty clothes bag/shoe pile went under the safe (you can't see it in the pics, but it's right on the other side of the short wall). Food went on top of the armoire/TV cabinet, camera, etc inside next to the TV. DH and I shared one drawer with overflow shorts on the shelf over the clothes rod in the closet - each kid had their own drawer for clothes and toys. We moved the table and chairs from next to the window over to the space between the TV cabinet and the small wall you see in the pics so DD could have her air mattress on the other side of the TV cabinet (head by the bed, feet at the TV wall) and see the TV. (We moved the table and chairs back before we left.)

The tub has a nice shelf at the foot of the tub for shampoo, etc. We had plenty of room for everything. I just wish Disney would put more towel bars/hooks in the bathrooms. The drying line in the shower works great until someone actually want to take a shower. Then where do the wet bathing suits and towels go?? :teeth:

Thank you all! I like to get a picture in my head of how we'll get organized and you all have really helped (I knew you would!)

Am I the only person who puts the suitcases back out in the trunk of the car after unpacking? My DW thinks I'm crazy, but that's what my Dad did and I'm sure everyone does some wacky stuff "just because" that's how we saw our parents doing it :teeth:

If the suitcase is too large to fit under the bed, you could try flipping open the suitcase, and sliding it under like that. It will have a bigger footprint, but less height. (Read that suggestion on a CruiseCritic thread.)

Those are both ideas I would never have thought of. My husband might not like the idea of having to lug the suitcases to the car and back again... :D

Well, they're a lot lighter when they're empty, so the trip isn't too bad!
