Room type change at check in

Hi all -

Leaving in a week! The day we arrive we have a studio at BWV and the remainder of the week are changing to a 1bdrm. At the time it seems like a good idea (fewer points for a 1/2 day) but now I'm thinking I may as well spend the extra few pts on a 1bdrm for the first night too.
Reading about the wait to MS, if I waited until checkin and asked if a 1bdrm was available (without having to change rooms) would they let me make the transaction right there and then?

It doesn't make sense to change rooms for 1 night if you don't have to. I'd just email ms and see if they can take care of it. If not, call the resort the night before or the morning of your checkin and see if there's anything they can do.
