Room/Tickets "Special Discount"

I was reading that there is a "special discount" on rooms and tickets for those attending a wishes wedding in WDW. Is this true? Does any one know how much they are?

Yes, it is true. I'm not completely sure, but I think it's 10% off for the value hotels, 15% off for the moderate hotels, and 30% off for the deluxe. I know it is 10% off for the All Star hotels and 30% off for the Contemporary and Grand Floridian. I don't think you get a discount at the Poly; if you do, it might only be 10%.

I think both the Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge get 15% discount, the deluxe resorts that get the 30% are the convention center resorts aka Grand, Boardwalk, COntemp, Yacht, etc. I don't think the ticket discount is very steep... I want to say only a few dollars if memory serves me.

Thanks. I was trying to get an idea if not only I could afford a disney wedding, but my guests could as well.

From what I could tell, the tickets aren't discounted at all. The park hopper is half price - $20 instead of $40. The real savings for the guests are the discoutned hotel rooms.

Just a note: Hotel discounts are only available to guests of Wishes weddings. Those travelling for Escape Weddings are not offered any discounts. However, you can usually find rates that are the same or better with AAA or an Annual Pass!
