Just checked out two resorts for the same length of stay (9 days), same room rate ... $99/night, total room cost for both places is $891. Pop's room tax is total of $102.60 and ASMo's room tax is $115.92.

How can this be?!!? Can someone explain? Both rooms are same $/night, same $/9 day stay ... why are the room taxes in ASMo higher?!

If I remember correctly, they are in two different counties and have slightly different tax rates.

I believe the AS resorts are in a different county, so the tax is 13 percent or something like that as opposed to Pop's 11.5 percent.

Yes, They are in different counties. I think this only applies to the Allstar resorts.

Thanks for the clarification!!! That's a new one to me! I appreciate the help!
