My wife & I have a Coronado Springs business class room reservation that ends Nov. 21. We would like to add another night but would need to switch rooms because of availability. Is it worth the hassle for one night only? We always get to the park for rope drop.

Everyone's idea of "worth it" is different. But, it would be worth it to me.

This is an interesting question. I've actually done this and regretted it because the room that we had was at a different resort and the family really didn't want to leave the room. The key differences here are that you're adding on at the end and from the way you worded your post it appears you're looking to remain at Coronado. I'd say if you don't care about getting to your luggage and living out of your suitcase for the one night then by all means go for it. Nothing beats staying on property.

An extra night would be worth it for us :)

If you want an extra day and that's the way to do it, then do it. Stash your bags early and do what you were going to do that day.

But without that extra day they would have had to leave anyway, right? But to go home? Was going home actually a better option than staying another night, even if it's at another resort?

We are doing the opposite and adding on an extra night at the beginning but having to stay at a different resort and then move to CSR. For me it's worth it.

I'm not sure I'd do it with three little ones myself, but if it's just two adults I think it's worth the hassle of checking out twice. Keep checking though as room availability might come up closer to the dates.

I would. We added a night on to the beginning of our trip at a different resort. I plan to pack a separate overnight bag for us and leave the rest of the suitcases (not electronics or valuables, just beach towels, clothes, shoes) in the car. This is what we do when we spend the night at a hotel on the trip down.

I added a night onto my last WDW trip, going from the POP Century to the Yacht Club. That one night was totally worth it.

We've decided to arrive a day early, twice. Was worth it, even with resort change. We have APs so don't even need to adjust park tickets although it's easy to add on a park day.

My DD's high school choir sang at MK a number of years ago. I went on my own since I didn't want to miss it. POR had availability for some of the nights but not all. I took the other night I needed at WL. It was not hard to change resorts and I had a WL experience that I wouldn't have had otherwise. (we stick to our mod POR rather than deluxe resorts)

I'd go for it!!
