Room size OKW versus WLV ?

I know that the OKW has the largest units of the DVC resorts but how much bigger are they really?
Are they big enough to really notice the difference?

Oh, yeah!!! Especially once you get into the one bedroom and bigger. Waaaaaay bigger than VWL, BWV, BCV or SSR. The OKW Studio has a much bigger bathroom - all of it in one room, no sink outside the room with the tub and toilet. And the sleeping area has two queen sized beds instead of just one queen sized bed and one double sleeper sofa.

OKW has the feel of space. It was designed to be roomy, whereas the other DVCs were designed to make the best use of space. Therefore you have the stacked washer and dryer in what amounts to a closet, where in the OKW villas you have a full laundry room (in other than the studio).

There is also a full table with an actual dining space, not a half bar and a banquette style table.

All a matter of preference to be sure, but if you are looking for roominess and more places to stash your "stuff" then OKW has the rest beat hands down.

In a villa 1 br and above, the size difference is AMAZING! If you have never seen an 1br and above villa, at OKW--you are going to be amazed!
Disney has designed the onsite DVC properties, so they each have their "own special something". Without a doubt one of OKW's is definitely the villa size difference for the 1 br and above.
If you want a laid backed, easy does it, vacation, at a lovely resort that is close, yet still far away from the action of WDW; and also have a 1 br and above villas that are larger---- OKW is where you want to be!
For a studio, we prefer the queen bed and sleeper sofa because we are always a party of 2 in a studio. A GV depends on the occasion and the number of points we have available. We prefer a park DVC resort, but there are times when the difference in pts for a OKW GV villa, is too tempting to pass up.

the okw 1 br is bigger than my first apartment at college!

i believe that okw was the first dvc resort that was sold - when disney realized what a goldmine they had, they downsized a bit when they built additional resorts - but thant is not meant to say that the other resorts are cramped - disney designers know how to create some big style in a smaller space!

For the Info, I am looking at buying a DVC and I think that OKW is the way we want to go, we like having room and as much as I love being near a park. I am finding that if I am away from the parks it forces me to relax a little more.

to me the livingroom is a lot bigger.

the ones have a sofa bed.

OKW has a sofa bed, love seat and a chair with a ottman.... lots and lots of room.
