We just booked a room w/ 2 double beds at PC for me, DH, DS9 and DD6. The probblem is that these kids do not do well sharing a bed. They keep each other up, and this was in a queen bed. For those of you who have stayed here, is these room to put a twin sized air matress? Once I thought about this issue, I tried to switch to a moderate, where the rooms are larger, but there was no availabilty. Guess I should have taken POR when it was offered yesterday! Thanks for your help!

I don't think you have room to put an air mattress in there... the room doesn't have a lot of empty space.

There is not a lot of room but, I think a twin size air mattress would probably fit ...near the front door (assuming nobody was going to leave the room during sleeping hours...).

Have a great trip...Pop is a fun resort...:D

I think the resort info says the rooms are 260 sq. ft. Maybe you and your dh can each share a bed with a kid or they can take turns sleeping on the floor. Can you rent a trundle bed for $15 at POP?

Yup! you could fit a twin size air mattress near the door. I didn't find the rooms all that small. They were pretty standard size motel rooms. I lived in NYC for years and lived in smaller apartments.

We stayed there the Sunday before last. We had connecting rooms because of the size of our family. I was really surprised at how small the rooms were. They were fine - but small. When you open the door(on an angled wall) you step right into the bed. It is really hard to roll the stroller into the room.

We did set up the pack-n-play by moving the table and chairs towards the window and putting it beside the tv.

I think you may manage to put an airmattress near the window/door but you would have to move it during the daytime just to move around.

Good luck.

No doubt about it, the rooms are small but you can pull off a twin sized air mattress. You might be able to move the table out of the way. My DD(10) and DS (7) will not sleep together either so DH and I sleep with one kid each. If you do the twin sized airbed and it works out, let us know because we'll be going back to POP at Christmas and this seems like a good idea.

We are usually only in the room to sleep, and we are all pretty wiped out after a day at the park! I really don't care about the table at all, so if we need to move it it is no big deal. In fact, I wouldn't care if they romoved it altogether for the duration of our stay! The kids don't sllep well with me and DH either, so the floor is really our best option. I will keep on checking on availability at the moderates, but it is good to know we can probably manage if we have to. I will post after our stay and let you all know how it went!
