Room size at AKL

hi

are the savannah rooms big enough for 4 people at AKL- 2 adults and a teen and child? i know they have 2 double beds- but space wise are we going to be bumping into each other

AKL standard savannah rooms usually have either 2 queen-sized beds or one king or queen (can't remember) and a bunk bed.

We had two queens and yes, we bumped into each other. The bunk bed arrangement might give you more walking around room, but I haven't seen it to confirm that.

IMHO, the rest of AKL will more than make up for it.

Same type question, Are the deluxe rooms larger that the other savannah view rooms? if so how much? we are taking four kid ages 13-1.

According to "Walt Disney World for Couples 2002-2003", "Standard rooms...are about the same size as those at the Wilderness Lodge (344 square feet). Deluxe rooms are a bit larger, about the size found at deluxe resorts such as the Yacht Club (381 square feet).".

lillykat, your pictures made me homesick for AKL.

There were three of us, 2 adults, one child and we had plenty room. But, we weren't in the room all that much. If you're concerned, I'd go ahead and book a deluxe. That way you're sure. You'll love AKL!
